I recieved the following update from Maurice Osborn regarding the possibility that the extremes in weather this year account for the sudden disappearance of formations in England.

I am writing to share with you what I have learned regarding the lack of crop formations in England since August 10, 2003. The distinguished researcher, Colin Andrews, wrote, "I don't think there is anything sinister at all. The main reason is that the weather in UK, much like other parts of the world is exceptional — the warm dry summer has meant a very early harvest and the harvesting of the fields in which the crop circles appear."

However, this still does not explain why there were no more crop formations after August 10th when not all of the crop fields were gone until weeks later.

Not only were crops still standing in England after August 10th, but they were still standing elsewhere in the world, as formations continued to appear outside of England. To help shed additional light on this issue, the following comes directly from the vita on the Colin Andrews home page.

COLIN ANDREWS is a well-known researcher and author and is widely acknowledged as the world authority on the crop circle phenomenon.  He is the founder of Circles Phenomenon Research International, the first organization established specifically to investigate the crop circle  mystery. His scientific investigations are responsible for much of the current information available on the subject.

Andrews is an electrical engineer by profession and a former senior official in British regional government. For three years Colin advised the British Government on the crop circle phenomenon, supplying technical and scientific reports to the Under-Secretary of State for the environment (Rt. Hon. Nicholas Ridely, M.P.) in the Margaret Thatcher cabinet. As a result of his persistence, the subject was raised in the House of Commons.

Andrews supervised the largest surveiillance project of its kind during 1990, called Operation 'Blackbird'.  It was an effort to film a crop circle forming, backed and supported by the British Army, B.B.C. and Nippon television and was watched closely by the international media.

With specific regards to the possibility that weather is responsible for the disappearance of formations in England since August 10th, Mr. Andrews clearly states that he "an electrical engineer by profession" and not a meteorologist (or a farmer for that matter.)

This crop circle story is getting more interesting by the minute. BTW, Colin has lost his credibility in my view when he never came up with the documentation to support his statement that 80% of the crop circles are hoaxed. And to be connected to such a ridiculous movie called "Signs" is further evidence to me that he no longer has believable information. What a terrible movie that was. I think he sold out (ala Faust).

Well I have to admit.  It certainly was news to me that the best paid crop circle researcher in the world worked on that cinematic abomination called Signs. Which I reviewed back in 2002.

Is The Crabwood Formation a Hoax?

While the critics may have loved it (which proves nothing), everyone in the audience walked out of the theater the moment the final credits began to roll. Out of curiosity, I turned at the door to look at the faces of the other audience members as they streamed out. There was no excitement. Rather, they all looked as though they had been standing at home plate with a bat in hand and that nobody had bothered to pitch a ball to them.  They had come, like myself, hoping to see a realistic scenario and not brain-sucking 50's era aliens that eventually melted like Wicked Witch of the West from the movie Oz — "I'm melting!"  Frankly the film should have been titled, Stuart Little Passes Kryptonite.  That would have made sense.

I supposed that when you make as much money from crop circle research as Colin Andrews, the last thing you'd ever want to see is contact.  After that, crop circles would be passé and that no doubt that would stop the speculation from which has obviously prospered so very well.

In all the years that we've publishing articles on YOWUSA.COM, nothing has ever generated the incredible amounts of mail from readers with truly valuable information.  Consequently, the information is now becoming rather dense, so I am providing the following 9-part chronology for our readers to help organize the information:

1. 03-JUL-03: I first published an update to my 03-May-03 article, Are Extraterrestrials at Odds With Crop Circle Messages? In this article, I addressed the significance of the contact message contacted in the Crabwood 2002 formation. In this article I heavily featured the Alien Messages video of crop circle researcher Maurice Osborne.
2. 16-JUL-03: Maurice Osborne sends me an E-mail stating "Someone entered my home and destroyed my master copy of the (Alien Messages) video…"
3. 18-JUL-03: Crop circle researcher Paul Vigay reports  conspiracies and threats against crop circle researchers in England.
4. 09-AUG-03: I published Recurring Crop Circle Pictograms Could Be the Keys to a Dialogue. In this article, I printed Maurice Osborne's 16 -Jul-03 E-mail regarding the break-in at his home for the first time.  I also showed a building pattern of communication in English formations suggesting that another major message on the scale of the 2002 Crabwood (Alien holding the disc) formation may be imminent.
5. 10-AUG-03: The crop circle season in England mysteriously stops according to Linda Moulton Howe of Earth files.com, even though formations continue to appear outside of England.
6. 26-AUG-03: The Swirled News web site publishes Date Predicted In Crop Formation Approaches.  This article describes the September 6 , 2003 prophecy of the 1995 Tichborne formation.
7. 28-AUG-03: An unidentified ‘winged' object appears in SOHO LASCO 3 image. It is too bright to be a star and is not in any star charts.  It also correlates with the 1995 Tichborne formation.
8. 29-AUG-03: The unidentified SOHO ‘winged' object that appeared the day before is edited out of subsequent images.
9. 29-AUG-03: Why Linda Moulton Howe of Earth files.com is buzzed by an all black state-of-the-art Apache attack helicopter while conducting an on-site crop circle analysis, and provides first hand visual proof.

When the 9-part chronology events as described above are viewed as a simple coincidence of unrelated and isolated events, then the conclusion to that logic must hold that all of this is much ado about nothing.

However, if one views the 9-part chronology events holistically through the lens of a strategic effort to covertly thwart a possible contact event in England during this last crop circle season, then all of the piece fit perfectly in terms of a prima fascia case that can only lead to one conclusion — contact denied!
